Our History

FormPak was incorporated in 1968 by several engineers from the Monsanto Corporation of St. Louis. The initial charter was designed to serve Monsanto and other regional chemical manufacturers with outsourced equipment, formulations (Form), and packaging (Pak), thus the name FormPak. Within the first few years of operation it quickly evolved into one of the strongest Manufacturers’ Rep firms in the Midwest and developed the current specialization in dry material handling and packaging systems. To this day that foundation forms the cornerstone of our business. Representing some of the most recognized names in the powder and bulk solids handling and packaging industry (B.A.G. Corp, PremierTech Chronos, Munson Machinery, Automated Ingredient Systems, UNITRAK, Vibra Screw, Schmalz, Brabender Technologie, and many others.)

In 1998 FormPak leveraged their 22 years of experience in bulk bag handling, filling, and discharging and began designing and selling this type of equipment regionally. This included a relocation from the Kirkwood, MO office to a warehouse/shop and office complex in North St. Louis County. Starting with simple bulk bag filling and discharging equipment the line quickly blossomed into fully integrated Super Sack® handling systems.

By differentiating their products and services (primarily through lower cost, greater customization, and faster delivery) they soon became know in the industry as the preferred supplier for bulk bag handling systems.

Over the next few years the success of that venture saw us rolling a national sales program, securing a partnership with the B.A.G. Corporation (the manufacturer of Super Sack® brand bulk bags), and adding several new pieces of equipment to our line.

FormPak currently has 4 full time employees (including a Professional Engineer) and several part time contractors. Our staff has over 50 years combined experience in the dry materials field.
