Bulk Bag Unloading & Discharging

FormPak’s BagFlo line of heavy-duty bulk bag unloaders will discharge any material. If it can be unloaded from a SuperSack® – we can do it.

Our unloader incorporates the “live bottom” technique with an isolated hopper and a 1500 pound force industrial gyrator. If we test your material in our lab, we will guarantee discharging from your SuperSack®. (see details below). SuperSack® unloaders are available with any type of take away conveyor, as well as optional features
like access doors, downspouts, iris valves, and downstream process equipment to condition and control your product.

We can even set up your unloader as a loss-in-weight batching system.

Fork Truck Loaded Machine

The fork truck loaded machine is our most popular, and is a very cost competitive, fully integrated system. It represents the best all around, competitively priced, industrial duty unloader, with features like easy bag height adjustment, offset receiver arms for straight in fork truck loading, and heavy structural frame.

Hoist and Trolley Unloader

The hoist and trolley unloader allows staging SuperSacks with pallet jack. An integral I- beam with a pendant controlled hoist and trolley, provides quick and reliable loading with one operator.

Half Frame Units

We also offer half frame units for applications where existing hoists are available, or simply wish to support the bag with a fork lift. Another option is our retrofit kit to incorporate the “live bottom” gyration to an existing static unloader or frame.

Loss-In-Weight

All but our Half Frame unloaders can be made to have Loss-In-Weight batching capabilities.  This is done by adding load cells (scale) to the legs of the unloader, and supporting a screw, screw conveyor, flexible screw conveyor, or other feeding/conveying device.  The load cells are connected to a scale controller that allows for bulk and dribble feeding.

• Send us your SuperSack of material for a free unloader test.
• We offer free testing and evaluation of bulk bags in our unloaders.
• When we successfully test your material in our lab, we will guarantee the performance of our equipment for that material.
• All you have to do is send us a full and empty Super Sack to our lab in St. Louis (freight costs to and from our lab are the responsibility of the customer).
• You are encouraged to witness these tests, but we can provide video and photographs as well as a written report of results if your time does not permit
