The Brewers Association safety subcommittee works to increase safety awareness of Brewers Association members with the goals of minimizing risk and preventing harm to people, products, and facilities.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to serve the greater brewing community on the Brewers Association safety subcommittee,” said Owens. “My previous work in non-profit groups and my own company have reaped measurable benefits in educating and executing safe practices in the workplace. Everyone deserves to work in a safe environment, and go home every day without injury or worry.”
Mike serves as a board member, and former president, at FIBCA (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association) and chaired the safety committee for that organization.
